Hey fellas. I have a 98 Ranger and the gauges quit reading. They will show a reading when I start the motor and then all quit. I am thinking this is probably not too tough a fix, but I always like to ask here for places to start. Thanks in advance.

It seems like the switch is not staying engaged, if that makes any sense. Connections seem good, but when i let the key rest after turning it on, it loses connection and the gauges quit. If I re-engage by turning it again, the gauges come back. Should I just replace the ignition switch? Thanks again for your help, Gary.
