I fish because I can. I fish because I love the anticipation of a fish taking my bait and running with it. I fish because I feel like I can honor God with less distractions. I fish because I'm an addict.

Enjoyment of being away from work and the rat race of life. Tournament fishing i love for the COMPETITION. Either way I enjoy that it was given to us by God.

I fish because it's an adrenaline driven sport. There is no better sensation than a solid thud on a worm or a sudden stop of a crank bait. A play on the football field just develops and you can see it happen. A bass striking a lure is like lightning flashing in the sky. This is why I fish....and because the NFL never drafted me.. Lol

Because I love to fish, and am trying to become a pro. It's a soothing but gratifying sport, and I love the fact that every day is different and u never know what to expect. The biggest reason........it allows me to spend A LOT of time with my father; that's very important to me.

I fish because I love it !...there is just something special about getting out in God's creation and escape man's crazy creation...there is nothing like idling into a cove early in the morning with mist rising from the water, dead calm not a ripple on the water, the birds a chirp'n, you look around and in the dim light everything looks black and white before the sun finally gets above the tree's...the smells are fresh...you chuck a buzz-bait out along the grass line and start winding it in, then "KABOOSH" that nasty 'ol Largemouth busts your bait and it's on !!!! IMO,it just doesn't get any better than that !

My escape and it keeps me grounded and reminds me of who I really am. That can be difficult living and working in the Houston area.

Because I can either be a complete success or failure at it with no strings attached. It is all up to me. Fish don't chew my a$$ if I'm not catching them well enough. Lol.....

It is the unknown factor that drives me.....If I stay home I know what will happen "nothing" If I go the unknown is to be determined and that sets off the adrenaline rush which is priceless.
