Lately, when we turn on the faucet in the kitchen sink, it will pulse some air out of it. I have checked for leaks and haven't found any, water meter leak check valve needle isn't moving indidicating a leak.

What the hay could be the cause of this?? This only happens at the kitchen faucet which is a Delta brand faucet about 5 years old now.

Mine was doing this as well. I removed the spray nozzle thing (whatever its called) and then turned on the water. Seems it had a little mineral deposit build up. I let it run for a few seconds, turned it off and on a few times. Put the spray nozzle back on and it seemed to cure the problem. Hasn't had that air in the line for months now.

Also any work on city lines will cause air bubbles. Normally to the first raised stub on the water line!

+1 on the stops being open
also washer on stop could be loose and floating around in stop

What the hay is a "stop"? I know how to change the ball, springs and gasket stuff, the only stop I know of is the one you put in to "stop' the water from draining from the sink to wash dishes....aka stopper. grin

If you open your cabinet doors and look at the back wall, you should see two or three stops/hosebibb looking things (depending on if you have a dishwasher) with piping running to the underside of your faucet. One is hot, one is cold (the third would be for the dishwasher). Make certain they are open all the way to allow the water to flow through to the sink.

It will look something similar to this...

Sounds like you might have a piece of sediment lodged somewhere, then...
