Back then not many people fished the lake. Oh the days of catching 2 or 3 12stripers a trip and releasing them in hope of a new lake record. That never worked for me.

That was why I posted the restroom question? The reporter musta caught 1000 fish on Joe Read guide service that day and had the "scenic route"? Lol

John and I will probably pre-fish Friday early, then take boat back to the spiders and return to the state park that evening with some auction items in tow.

Redfin get some Demon WP at the feed store in Terrell it will take care of them spiders.

Mike, it wasn't all that bad - pulled the boat out of its stall and onto the side driveway Friday evening. I took the boat cover off Saturday and scrubbed it clean on the front driveway. I did the Demon thing when I took the cover off and then let it air out the rest of the day, all night and most of the day yesterday. Threw the cover over it loosely Sunday evening then shop-vac'd it a coupla hours ago and it looks like new. Washed the trailer and boat, stuck a 20" electric fan inside and let it air the Demon smell out. Canvas cover looks pretty good, too.

I will be there with my 9 year old daughter. Bought her a shirt, which was the most important part. Will the park open early?

My group and I are not camping in the park, but staying at Shoe String, instead... so, is it allowed for us to put in at Holiday but tie up at the park during weigh in? We've already registered for the tournament...

Just registered on-line and no you dont have to sign in if already registered. Was told to just print the on-line receipt and have it in hand at weigh-in. We will also be staying at shoe string, launching at holiday and just pulling up at state park for weigh-in and the fish fry.
