Would like to have a Terrova for my summer holes and still be able to throw my Fortrex on when I'm banging stumps in the spring.
Any experts out there?

If you make a special plate for them to sit on then it should be no problem but other than that the holes are different on the mounts.

When I bought my Terrova the guy said I had to had a certain type of quick release because of my boats style, but it was different than the one you just showed. I can assure you a machine shop could build what you are wanting, it just needs a base and then 2 plates that attach with the different hole patterns from each tm. It'd be pretty easy if a person had axcess to aluminum. Def won't be cheap though, but if you can afford 2 tm's then you can afford a custom base.

Skeeter. The topcap has a slight rounded curve and not flat like some caps are. If I could do it all over again, I'd skip the $100 quick disconnect and would have cut some angle iron or C channel, had them powder coated and then put rubber washers between the iron & top cap. Then I could have used the original motorguide holes without having to add another 4 holes.
My quick disconnect is a rectangle plate with the center cut out and they sandwich into 1 pc together. Very weak and I have the feeling if I ever hit a tree/stump too hard the motor is going to pull the QR from the topcap, guess that could be good or bad.
If you search the topic here you might find what some of the other fellas have done to help remedy the Terrovas sorry mount system.

Dang! I've got a Skeeter ZX250. Looks like I'll have to return the mka-32 I bought.

Why would you want to return it? I think mine is the 21A, that was all they were making at the time. The 32 looks like it might be stronger than the set up they sold me. For the life of me I just can't see why they don't make something universal that would allow you to do what your wishing to do. Heck, I might even buy 2 tm's if they'd make that adapter. The Terrova is the cats meow in the open water but get into a tight spot and it's too slow to turn. Having a TM for those stump infested lakes and a spot lock wind fighting TM for the open water .gif)

So Brent, theres no problem swapping them? Is it really as simple as it sounds? Heck, it makes sense now that I think harder about, just have to make sure the base is wide enough for each. Let me know if you try it 2%, I might follow in your foot steps.

The boat i bought came with a saltwater motorguide. I bought a terrova . Bought 2 kits. I actually didnt want to drill new holes in the boat. I bought a piece of aluminum plate for 15$ at metals for you in dallas. They will cut whatever size you want. I mounted that plate using the motorguide holes and a templete i made . then attached the terrova and quick connect to that plate as if it was the deck. Then i pulled the terrova off right quick. Put the extra top piece of the bracket on, layed the motorguide on it where it needed to go. Marked the holes and drilled new holes and mounted the plate to the motorguide. Takes about 2 minutes to go from terrova to great white for bay fishing. Had to buy another male plug that was the same so they power the same
