 kayaking in the las colinas canals

Can you put a kayak in the canals? never seen one out there but am thinking about buying a yak to do so.

ive seen a tandem in the canal at 114 and macarthur it was at sunset didnt see them fishing though

According to DCURD it's not public water. There are/were signs saying no fishing or boats.
Calling a sport Ghey isnt cool unless in the privacy of your glitter boat.

I have paddled here a few times, several years ago. Caught some decent fish, but nothing particularly special about the area. It is tricky to access legally (as far as parking is concerned).
