"It was a little one" - as my tournament partner loses a fish, that was clearly NOT little.. Of course, I am also guilty of this, but my fish usually are little.

had a buddy years ago that would say "missed one" after setting the hook. he would get 20 "bites" to my 1 and not have any fish to show for it..

had a buddy years ago that would say "missed one" after setting the hook. he would get 20 "bites" to my 1 and not have any fish to show for it.. Some of us have to pretend we are missing fish to keep up hope. 
I have a Largemouth at home....sometimes she lets me go fishing.

When you arrive at the honey hole of a spot that you won a tournament with 188 entries the previous weekend only to find a guy anchored with his trolling motor up and tells you "if you fish within 50 yards you will be fishing under protest". We were best friends the weekend before when he saw me slaying 'me and came in on me.
