Are Trokar hooks worth the extra money. Considering using them on crank baits but heard the points bend easy.

I wouldn't spend the extra money on them the hooks that come onnthe cranks will work just as good. But if the hooks are old and need to be replaced I would but owner hooks can't go wrong.

If you're gonna change some hooks, try Owner Stingers, Gamakatsu, or the KVD Mustads. 2 Trokar trebles per pack=Lotsa $$$$

I use nothing but Trokar but only buy when on sale at Academy at 1/2 off. I recently purchased approximately 50 packs.

IMOA, The hook up ratio on Trokar beat any other hooks out there. You do not need to set the hook as hard with Trokar. For me this is a plus when fishing with spinning tackle. I have caught up to 9.8 pound bass on 3/0 Trokar hooks with out bending one. The only reason I have kept the many Gamakatsu hooks I had, is for the wife and kids. I personally use ony Trokar now. And yes getting them from Academy when they are on sale is a plus.

I dont have hooks on my crankbaits.they get hung up to easy and i dont ever get any fish to hit them anyway.

I'm all for Trokar, but you gotta give me a few more hooks in a pack... Soon as I start loosing fish on my Gamakatsu and Owner trebles, I'll think about it.
