What is the key to driving in rough water? I have had a boat for years and have driven I. The rough water many times. No mater what it seems like its a beatin no mater what. What am I missing, how do you drive to make it easy on yourself?

You need a side imaging unit.

Dont take waves straight on, Run a Z pattern if you can, Trim down and use your throttle to help with boat control. it's just time behind the wheel in rough conditions.

I do run zig zag, but I guess I have it trimmed up too much.

I wish I had known I needed a power pole to handle the rough water! At least it's not to late to get one. And a jersey with your name on it.

If you are on a boat brand prostaff your boat automatically is the rough water king.

BTW, if you wrap your boat it will also help with those rough water days. Don't even get me started on how much more a wrapped boat will help you in tournaments.

What kind of boat do you have? Hull design is a big factor.....after that comes time on the water
