I am looking into fishing the BWS next year but wanted to get some perspective from both sides boaters and non-boaters in how much they like or dislike this trail and if this is a trail most would recommend


Depending upon feedback I may be in search of a boater link for next years tournys

I fished as a co for 4 years before I made the step up

Great people on a great schedule of lakes (and I say that as I am 2 hours from the closest one)

THe opportunity for advancement is always there as the nayionals pay ago overt good with an ultimate goal of fishing the bassmaster classic

Yeah fish I know the feeling of the long drives that's why I am trying to make sure it's a trail that is enjoyable yet isn't a cracker jack payout so to speak

It's one of the best run series we have in Texas

well ran an fun series this is my second yr as a co angler and have had a blast and made some new friends

I have fished this series as a co-angler for 6 years and have enjoyed every minute of it.

great series here in east texas, run as well or better than any I have ever fished, good people, good lakes, good times, everyone I have met is a 100% stand up fisherman, and they all enjoy it. Go to the weekender series, look up region 11, give porter a call, and go for it.

I fished as coangler last year and made the jump to boater this year. Great run tournaments with some great guys.

Does anyone know when next seasons schedule comes out?

Should be about the time our two day comes out

I am fishing the boater side this year and I am having a blast despite getting my butt kicked so far. Great folks run the trail but even better is so many good people are fishing it. I have yet to encounter anyone that has not been anything but friendly on and off the water. I will be back next year for sure.

I have been under a rock, who is BWS, can't find any thing on them.
