I am not sure if this has been mentioned or not but my brain was doing work and thought of this. If you have a spinner box similar to this style and every time you open the box your baits are all mixed up and tangled up. Cut out a piece of cardboard to fit inside the box and close it. This will get rid of the very small gap that your spinner baits slide through. Before: After:

I super glue mine down and it works real good too.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.

I started using zip-lock sandwich bags. Took out the inserts that came in the box. I think i can fit more in the box that way than I could trying to get them to fit ans stay in the slots.
If you have a bunch of the same size and color you can put them in the small bags then put all the small bags in one gallon size bag. easy to label.

The only thing wrong about the card board, is that it will hold moisture in the box, not good on baits

I have gone to ziplocs too, those style boxes I have come to hate. They always become a mess for me.

I just went to Lowe's and bought a couple of small sections of 1/4" aluminum angle iron. I then drilled about 100 holes in it where a hook would fit through. Use the smallest bit you can where most hooks will pass through but still take a little maneuvering to pull out to use. That way they will not fall out when running in rough water. Mounted it under my lid in my rod lockers and here you go. Helps the skirts dry out after uisng them. All my buzzbaits, chatter jigs and spinnerbaits go on there. The picture below is the one in my boat. Total cost less than $5.00

That is a great idea and looks very compact.

I use a different style box than that but what I did was since it has 3 rows I put single blades on one row and multiple blades on the next 2 rows. Then I started with my larger baits on one side and smallest on the other so now when I need a large single blade I know the its in the upper right hand corner and a small multiple blade in the bottom left corner. I also saved some of the little deals from beef jerky packs that absorb oxygen and put some of those in the box to help prevent the blades from corroding as much. I do keep brasso and a rag to polish blades with in the boat should I need a bait that has gathered some tarnish.

I put mine in a worm bag that has zip lock bags. Just make sure they are dry before you zip them up.

These are of good use in such a way....I didn't figure I was the only one...what are they called?...."decadis"??.... Moisture is a big enemy... I like what u did there, Mark...nice handiwork

Silica Gel Packets! They come in a lot of things you buy these days. Use them in all of your lure and terminal boxes to keep moisture to a minimum. Check with local department stores, they probably throw away 100 or more a day. Where I work, we get them in the clothes, boots, and gloves that come to us. I save them for my boat and tackle.

Dryer sheets work good too.
