OP Lake Fork Guide Eddie Garrett Pro Angler Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 918 Texas	Vijay Kannan from Dallas booked a trip with me by himself today and had the day of his life! His top five fish went 41 pounds. With a 11.07 and 9.20 the largest with both being overs. Had one jump off at the boat I know was over 10. Conrats again Vijay! The morning started out with a slow bite and by 1pm we were still chasing down the active fish. Not enough can be said about how hard Eddie worked to find me the fish. We went up and down the lake looking for the good bite, and each time we stopped I got full explanations of why a spot was good, when it was good in relation to seasonal patterns, and how to approach situations when they were and weren't feeding. At around 1 the bite turned ON. My first fish of the day went at 9.2lbs, smashing my previous PB by about 3lbs. Then the next spot put out a 5.15, two over 7lbs, and finally I finished the day with an 11.7. I had another potential DD jump off at the boat, 2 big ones wrap me up in trees instantly, and one that was so strong it just pulled out line against the fully locked down drag on my BPS Nitro reel (which has 18+lbs of drag and 65lb braid) until she could get to another tree and wrap me up there. In short, if numbers are what you want, Eddie can put you on a school. If trophies are what you want, Eddie can put you on the giants. Either way, he's your man. I will certainly be back.
