Wondering how well Furry Thangs and Secret 7 dip bait work together. Do the Furry Thangs hold bait well? Also has Dead Red apray helped the bite? Thinking about trying them. Have had good luck with Sure shot Punch bait. Just wondering about other types of bait. Thanks for opinions as they always provide good info.

I know a few times where the dead red made a heck of a difference using buffalo. Overall I figure it doesn't always help but it has never hurt the bite. Only thing of team catfish I really use.

I prefer the dip tubes over the furry thangs. I like a smaller profile bait when fishing for channel cats. The furry thangs do hold the bait really well though.
As for the Dead Red Blood Spray.... I use it on every piece of cut bait in my boat.

I have used the Dead Red Blood Spray on soaked cut chicken breast and caught some channels on it every time I use it.

If you are just getting started use the dip tubes.....unless you are fishing in current. In a current situation or really really hot water the Furry Thang might be a better choice. The Warmer the water, the bigger the bait...
