No. it's not. But if you don't go thru La Grange, you don't know where a lot of things are. I never go into La Grange proper, only the by pass. And I have never seen the Beverage Barn on the by pass. Sorry I asked.

Thanks to the real answers. I come into LaGrange on FM 609, turn left and go to 71 by pass. It's nice to know where I can get some if I run low.

I am glad that you could provide him with a better answer. I provided him with the information I knew, which he may or may not have known. The inference was that if he couldn�t find better information he could probably drive down the main drag and find it. I have often found things in small towns by using this approach or by stopping into the corner gas station. Chances are if the clerk doesn�t know than one of the locals probably does. This approach would probably not work in a larger town. I have spent a lot of time in small towns so perhaps my experience caused me to provide an answered that appeared to be less than genuine. I did not mean to offend and apologize if I did indeed do so.

I got an answer and that is really all that matters. But for what it's worth, I have found just driving around a strange town pulling my boat is not a very efficient way to use my time and money.

I would agree that is why I am glad someone had a better answer. The forum is not mutually exlusive. Anyone could answer...some are better than others.

I really try to give feedback when I can, often on my phone, so I tend to write brief responses and I often don't worry too much about offending anyone. Most people around here don't get to offended too easily.

The only reason I made a reply to the other user's comment was to politely request him not imply that I wasn't a "real Aggie". A lot of Aggies would have taken extreme offense to the comment, but I voiced my objection and would prefer to let it go and move on to topic.

As a matter of fact...I'm going fishing right now.
