Going to do some night fishing this weekend, either Saturday night or Sunday night. Trying to decide between Athens or Fork. Suggestions?

fork...just scout the spot you'll fish at night during the daylight so you don't punch a stump through your boat...

Fork is a fun one, its still early enough in the year that you might be able to get on a decent area or point before 2 am when the crowds finally leave.

Fished Fork before, lots of fun, just sometimes crowded. Looking forward to going.

BIL wants to go to Athens. Never been thought we would try something new to us. Heard it is on fire. Any suggestions on how to start?

Never been and looking forward to going. I heard it has a lot of grass. Do the fish stay pretty shallow now or am I looking more offshore points and humps? Thanks in advance, I cant wait!!!

I was there (athens) with a friend last night from 9:30pm to 1:30am. fished 4 areas, first three areas produced 3 fish and 4 misses, we got to the forth spot and boated 10 to 12, nothing large, and missed about 5 other bites.
the bite picked up after the moon went down.
only 5 trucks/trailers in the parking lot when we left. one guy was sleeping in the bed of his truck.
