Has anyone been out the last couple of days? Is the wind making it difficult to fish? We have had this wind before, but I can't remember it being this strong this long.

There are some great coves to get in out of the wind. Yes it has been a rough ride getting to them. Yes is is difficult for one man to unload and load a rig in this wind. Safer coves and ramps are at Jordan and Buck.

Is it correct to assume that Ray Roberts will be less crowded than Lewisville and Grapevine?

The north and east will be. The more timber the less pleasure boaters hopefully. I want to take the boat out Monday, but am having a hard time convincing myself to be on the same water with all the drunks, idiots, and drunk idiots. I may just take my daughter pond fishing and avoid the lake till next week.

Ray Roberts is not as popular as lake lewisville or some of the others. Lots of places to fish on the east arm and be away from ski boats. Just noticed that it looks like the price went to 7 dollars a person at the Jordon state park.

That's correct. It's now $7 at all Jordan and buck as well. I think the only ramp now owned and controlled by TPWD is at the marina, so they are probably all $7 now.

Pecan Creek ramp is free. All other ramps except the marina ramp are operated by TPWD and are $7 a person now. Idk what the marina charges to use their ramp.
