Which Contour HD model were you using for the videos posted above?

they are a couple years old now, but I think just the regular Contour HD, they aren't GPS.

What does it take as far as battery capability to run a Go Pro Hero the entire day? Will the backpack do it, or do you still need another battery?

Mine goes about 3-3.5 hrs I only have one battery, but I've been told you can get a power cable to plug into the cigarette lighter. Haven't looked into that yet.too many options for an older guy!

You can use the Skeleton housing along with the auto charger and run one as long as you need. You'll need the larger card and a back up if you're going to use this. It's also not completely waterproof so keep it secured on the console area. http://gopro.com/camera-accessories/hd-skeleton-housing/http://gopro.com/camera-accessories/auto-charger/Another added benefit of the skeleton housing is improved audio.

picked up an H2 outdoor edition at Cabela's on tue. that little camera records some crazy good video. i can already tell i'm going to need more than one.
