My 17 year-old fishing buddy(son)wants to wake board after we're done fishing. Anyone ever pull a wake board behind a bass boat?

pulled from a bass boat, comp boat, centerconsole,
dont just romp on it, take off nice and easy. its not a slolum.
get um up and back it down before you take off and go too fast.
optimum speed is about 20 mph for a beginner.

Yes, but it won't make a big wake like the wake board boats do. It will be harder for him to do any tricks.

I did. Right into the riprap on Lake Fork. Cut the rope and went back to my fishing bolt

All the time - kneeboards, skis, wakeboards... Didn't have a mast so the rope can pull through the wake at times & during turns. Never semed to have a problem. Usually had to work out the optimum rope length.

Just make sure you blast rap music and wear your hat sideways while throwing up a crip sign.

Why? Will it attract fish like a Hydrowave?

wanted to pull a few with my skeg a couple of times but resisted the temptation.

Imagine wakeboarding behind a race boat.

Have done it for years. It's a great way to keep kids interested in fishing. When it gets slow or during the heat of the day let them have fun.
