I noticed that RBR listed it but the thing most forgotten is a first aid kit. Doesn't have to be a big one but Academy has some just the right size for a yak. The water we fish in during the summer months has some pretty nasty infectious strains ready to jump on any hook jab or knife slice.

Take plenty of water.

I always suggest a cheap spare paddle that can be folded up and stored away.

I fish in-shore mostly so I always carry my stake out pole.

I use this 50 times more than my anchor, but I always carry an anchor.
PFD goes on without question. Yeah, it gets hot but hot is better than dead.
A crate is one of the best friends of a yaker because it serves as an idea place to munt things and store things.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn

Instead of an anchor you use a piece of chain on the end of a rope and it holds you in place as you fish. The weight of the chain drags along the bottom keeping you in place.

Love seeing what everyone brings.

I need to get a small fist aid kit and leave it in the hull. Something I have neglected until now.

No where for the past year
blush
My favorite spot is in Galveston Bay right out of Stingeree (Bolivar peninsula). Hope to find a place for my RV to stay down there and be back in there this summer.

My other favorite place is Lighthouse Lakes.

Niether..... I am from Houston and live in Burton Tx. I work in the oil field and a muleshoe sleeve is a part I use for my work. Just liked the name.
