From what I can gather we can no longer get water from Texoma to Lavon because of water pipes getting clogged and if they take over Lavon then the water from Lavon to the cities will be affected.
This has nothing to do with water quality it has to do with moving the water and also generating electricity, if the power station on Texoma can't get water to flow through then no lights.

I have faith that the great lake Lavon will kill the Zebra's.

And power rates will increase so will water rates. No more keeping your boat in the water. We gotta do something to slow the spread, i agree may not be much we can do long term.

I would love someone to spread some hydrilla to Cedar Creek. I think that would be sweet.

the usual goverment [censored], regulate what cannot be stopped. we will have them with or without nonsense regulations. look at the great lakes they have had them for years, the fishing and water quality are better then they have been for many years.it looks like they are good in some ways, and bad in other ways..we will just have to deal with both..

There are no evil clowns. They are just misunderstood and stigmatized.

How will this impact Bud Light Trail Championship on Texoma?

They specify that you "take additional steps to remove all water from their boat and trailer before leaving for another body of water." A Gander Mountain parking lot weigh-in is where I drain mine. Not another body of water.

[quote=Skeet4life]I would love someone to spread some hydrilla to Cedar Creek. That's funny right there.

We just have to remember we're not the only ones on the water. The many people with more money and bigger boats that sit on the water are really going to push for regulations like this. They have the most to lose. I can remember 20 years ago when Ray Roberts had hydrilla and the water was clearer. The fishing was much better and easier. But I'm not sure zebra's are the answer. I do believe we'll find out no matter how hard they try.
