I'm in the market for a new reel after both of my Quantum Smoke's were stolen. I'm trying to decide between another Quantum Smoke or the Shimano Chronarch. Im already am really comfortable with the Smoke but the Chronarch looks really good and I just can't decide. Maybe I'll just get both. I need some opinions.

I sold my curados and have been using the Chronarch 50 mg's now. Smooth casting and retrieve. Throwing lightweight spinnerbaits, 1/8 oz shakyheads, even the light rick clunn crankbaits with no backlash.

Ok cool, Thanks. I was leaning toward the Chronarch anyway.

Sorry to hear that your gear was stolen. Just cant understand why some elements of our society work hard at stealing what other ppeople work hard to buy. Have you looked at any of the BPS Johnny Morris models?
