I went that way for the first time this year and got up there about 6:30pm.....stopped at the well marked bouys and idled up about 1/2 mile....fished until right at dark and idled past the bouys and once I cleared them I got on pad and ramp back to Casino Beach to go home. While I was up there, no one ran out but me and I was clear of the buoys....
Doesn't take me long to load and get out of the parking lot, but they would have had to have waited to the last minute to come out of there.....Just sayin, maybe there are some untruths!!!! But, I totally agree....obey the rules please.

I missed last week, but a big thanks to the anglers that called me and sent texts letting me know what was going down. I am 100% sure of who it was last week, they didnt have fish. The week before we were givin some misinformation but have since figured out who that was also, they didnt have fish. So for what its worth to this point nobody that has won or taken a check has run the no wake. Bottom line is even if you dont have fish and run it now you can write the river off on Wed nights for the rest of the year. We have a great group of guys, lets pull it together and get back on track.

It sucks I have not been able to make it this year. I am sure you miss the donations. To much work and not enough time.

Just so I am on the same page, I can run all the way to the new No Wake signs then idle, there are no houses past those signs, what are the homeowners filming? Since people keep fishing the base and people keep running the river which both are rules maybe then we should just keep all boats between the bridges, that should cut out all the issues. BTW I have a bigger issue with not checking live wells before Tourny than River Runnin or Base Fishing.

I can only enforce what I know. I personally caught a team fishing the off limits around the base, told em they were fishing off limits and they havent been back to fish with us since. I havent had a single report of another boat fishing the base, if you see one and dont go see who it is and report it to your TD how can we do anything about it? You want livewell checks more frequently, you got em bud... every single boat from here on out will be checked. What blows me away is we never hear any negative feedback until someone gets busted doing something they shouldn't. From a tournament directors view, I can not be a part of a tournament with laws being disregarded like this and I darn sure cant condone it. At the point I received a call from the homeowners association I HAD to do something.

You can run to the no wake sign then idle all the way in, on the way out you may not get on pad until you are PAST the no wake sign. Look I know it sucks, but the homeowners on the lake got those implemented not me. If you have an issue with it come see me at registration and I'll gladly explain it as best as I can.

Dont sweat it. YOU DO A GREAT JOB. We havent met I fished with Tommy last night and have driven from McKinney to fish when I can for 3 years now. Mainly to hang out with a old high school fishing buddy. We could just load up and go anywhere just to fish. I have commented to Tom on several occasions how enjoyable your tournament is. Thanks for doing what you do and your help as well. You make this tournament what it should be a friendly competition while handling problems IMO very well. Check the live wells have the base and river rules and the rest is up to us. Thanks again
