Has anyone that has Tarpon Kayaks ever had any warping or other defective type problems? Someone told me they had warping problems and a problem with the hull splitting? I just wanted to here from the folks that have one if they have had any of these problems. I'm particularly looking at possibly buying a Tarpon 100.

I've got a Tarpon 140 and I haven't had any problems at all, except for not having enough time to fish out of it. I love mine. I would definitely recommend a WS Tarpon. You might look on Texas Kayak Fisherman I know a factory rep is on there by the name of "Let's Go", He should know of any issue with the hulls.

NO,no and no. My Tarpon 100 has stood the test of time. After 200+ trips it continues to perform like it did on it's maiden voyage. Looks a little beat up, but what's a little abuse amongst friends. laugh

I also have a Tarpon 140 and have never had any problems with it.

I have one of the original Tarpons, before they put numbers on them:)

No problems whatever.
