I am looking to buy a new boat one I was looking at has a verado mercury 200 on it. The one I just sold was a 200 mercury optimax. How does the verado run compare to the optimax. Is there any difference as far as top speed an hole shot. Anything to be concerned with I just don't now anything about it well except what the salesman said. Anyway any advice will be appreciated

Dont know much about them.
Is it new or used?
I dont think the first couple model years were very sought after, but it is my understanding they have gotten better. Sure somone with more info will be along shortly and good luck.

Probably not many people on here with experience with them. They seem to be designed more for saltwater style boats rather than bassboats. I believe they are trying to remedy that, but not many of them at the lake.
