Tough out there today for me, Hit all the popular spots, lots of boat shows, not much catching. I marked fish stacked up at several locations, tried many variations of slabs and colors, even went to the dreaded hellpet,(trying to get my son on some fish) on the water by 0630 off at 1130..The freakshow was starting..Saw only some some sporadic schooling, did see a couple of guides catching a few with live bait..My boy 9 was a bit spoiled after back to back outings of 100+.. I had explain to him that's why they don't call it catching.....

Was rough for me today as well. Marked a bunch of bait everywhere and caught/snagged several shad on slabs. Finally did get some whites going on the next point past twin trees, but no hybrids for me today.

We started out slow but found them stacked on the south east part of vaughns humps. Pulled out a couple limits on bombers and RSR gold/silver slabs. Several were 14-16" but we had a lot of finks mixed in as well.

All fish released as usual to be caught another day.
