personally im 6'1 and 180 i take 4-5 poles my throw net minnow bucket and i use a crate i grabbed from behind a grocery store. If you get one add a screw in the middle of the foot rails so they dont bow. also get a bit larger anchor then that small folding one bc if its windy its gonna move.

It's basically the same hull configuration as the Heritage Redfish 10, and it holds my 240# just fine.
It' a compact kayak that is stable and tracks well for a short kayak.
The Redfish is rated for 325# so it's not just for small people, and if you just want it for a day tripper and not haul a lot of gear it's a good deal.
Personally I'd get the 12' model just because you have a little more room for gear.

Well I am 5'10 and about 145 so I guess it will work for me?
I have a crate an anchor at home a sold my old kayak over the weekend hoping to "upgrade" I guess you can call it.
I usually carry 3 rods and the rest of the equipment. I was wondering if it is stable enough to stand up on it and fish?
My back was killing last time I went out.
Thanks for your input.

Great, thanks a lot.
That was one of the main reasons I starting asking about it.
It seems pretty roomy specially in the cockpit area, I need to stand up and strech my back and legs.
Thanks for your input.

You should be fine, and at your size standing might be possible but I never attempted it.
Be sure to get yourself a nice high back seat or get a foam cushion for the seat.
My Redfish came with a comfortable seat, but I'm not familiar with what they have on the Angler model.
Any kayak is going to be uncomfortable if the seat isn't right!
