Might still find some crappie in there. Fish the bends with jig and bobber. They won't be in there for much longer.

Fished there last Friday. Caught one 4lb blue cat and a bunch of gar. The gar were everywhere!!

Fished there last weekend. Caught a couple little dinks. That was about it.

Was going fishing there after I dropped my boy off for a tournament at Reapers but around 6 the place was packed with people dressed up like it was picture day. This place always frustrates me. Either it is flooded and you cannot get in there, or there are too many people. or I sit next to someone that gives me a history lesson and won't shut up. Had a great fishing time there a bunch of years ago until some moron from the opposite bank in the weeds started poping me with a bb gun. Awesome place to look at but never can get there when it is not chocked full o nuts.

Thanks for the warning!! I still havent made it down there, and its probably to late now for any decent fishing anyway. At least I know for the future though.
