I fished from 9am to 1pm on the dock at Purtis Creek and caught 5 fish 16" to 18" fish and one 21" beauty. It was just shy of 6 pounds. I used goldfish under a cork. I forgot to add that these fish were Large Mouth bass.

I talked to a two families, one from Baytown and one from north of Beaumont that were evacuating from the storm. They decided to make the best of it and went to Walmart to stock up on fishing stuff. I hope there homes are OK.
