Does anyone know why the 1996 model Skeeters (or at least the zx 200 model) have about a 1&1/2ft gap between the console and the deck? It seems like a waste of space and a loss of rod storage if you ask me. I'm about to go check a 96 zx200 out this week and am really curious as to why they would make them like that. Thanks

I don't always catch bass, but when I do, I prefer Dos Bass

Not sure but I would assume it was for tackle box storage from the old days.

build ya deck insert, what I done on my boat. 1 for storage, and one box for an ice chest. Holds ice for 2 days easy.
