I went out about midmorning, fished everywhere, I found good fish suspended over rockpiles. I kept 20 slab Sacalait, cast pass the piles of rocks let it fall right over and Whamo.
A couple of pics from todays catch:

Fish still in deep water buggy eyes tell all...

Thank's it was a nice day, by the way it is looking by July we may be struggling to launch. The lake is already 2ft low. It is a hard lake if you are looking for the fishing to be easy or great numbers this probably is not the place. Fishermen get to the lake motivated fully charged and leave disgruntled in a lot of instances, but thats Benbrook and natures way of preserving it self I guess.

Way to go P-Train. I'm really happy that you remember at least some of the techniques I tried to teach you. You were one of my laziest students but there is hope. Hey Craig look at P-Train he's trying to sprout. lol cheers

Hey JD I do remember one thing you live East of I-35, but more so I do remember all you taught me. The list is so very long it does repeat at intervals and no particular order. These are the first five and most important.
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.Remember the first four you will see them again.
Now after you taught me all this I don't know how I ever could repay you,but thats what friends are for.

Good job, Pat. I thought of you this morning as I was starting a 128 mile bike ride and the wind was dead calm. I figured you were sitting on those crappie. Now, I see you did it yesterday instead. What's this about rock piles?
