Bank fishing in Houston continues to be stellar. Caught this beauty on a pumpkinseed chatterbait over some hydrilla. Berkley digital scale said 7 lbs (well, 6.94, but I rounded up).  Caught 6 bass in an hour on the same 50 feet of bank. All on the chatterbait. Best five would've been about 16 lbs, including the 7 lb kicker. Not too shabby for an hour spent relaxing after work.

Thanks, fellas. I was pretty happy to put that one on the bank. Scary thing is, you doube the size of that fish, and it's STILL not as big as that pig pulled out of Lake Austin that's on the forum right now. Crazy to even think about. If I ever landed a 14lber, I'm pretty sure I would have a seizure AND poop my pants. I just hope the fish could shake the hook and get back into the water on its own, since I would be lying incapacitated on the bottom of the boat in my own excrement.
