Hit the surf at sunrise, throwning a skitter walk, bam bam bam.
caught small ones, like 13 15 inches, switched to a mirror lure slow sinking...white belly, black back, and picked up 10 nice ones..Had to go to work so guit fishing at 7.30
Cant wait till tomorrow.

Man i strike out alot..im trying to learn as i go, this saltwater isnt fresh...
When u see 15 waders fishing one area, you stop and ask questions...You learn fast.
Right now we got perfect water, trout are feeding for the spawn..Best time to catch em.

We are down on Jamaica Beach for the week. We have been catching them on Croakers on the surf side. Now that the wind has picked up do you think the dirty water will effect the bite? Debating on going out his evening. Yesterday was very slow for us, but Wednesday we slayed hem with one of he specks being 26 inches.

I would try surf , unless waves are to hard to handle . If they are wade the bay out to the first drop off , the second drop off if 1 st no good . Personall i dont know of a good place to Bay wade at Jamaica Beach . I go to Point west Subdivision to wade the bay . I dont like 8 mile road , to many breakins .
