What do you have to do and can you take a navionics chip from one HDS unit and put it in the other?
I am wanting to get a chip for my dash unit, but then if I want to follow a contour line while fishing I would either have to move the chip from the unit on the dash to the front unit, or does it go through the LSS1?

Have to move it or buy another chip.

The buy one get one free offer is good only on the Marine and Lakes producr which will aloow you to basically downlaod the state of Texas on two different charts. Depending on the coverage you wish to have this is a great opportunity for $99. They can be purchased at Bas Pro and Cabela's in Texas.
