I have to vent my stupidly here..to make long story short I was being used. It started off when I bought a brand new 24' party barge. Of course friends and coworkers wanted to come every time I'm on the waterwhen I'm out at the lake alone without my wife and son. After few times out with "friends" and "coworkers" I came to conclusion too slow. They would hopped onto my boat without bringing anything to eat or drink. I provided everything from grilling and all the entertainment. As soon as they were done eating and drinking. They were ready to leave so that meant I have to bring my boat in. Now that left me alone to trailer the boat....no one to help at all! This happened quite too often. I told my wife these people I so called "friends" are not my friends but leeches! Recently I told hem they are not allowed on my boat/trip. They think I am over reacting. What do your opinions on this? I mean they didn't help to pay for gas, food, drinks or help me load and unload the boat. I did and provided everything. Am I in the wrong?

I don't think you are wrong. You could use your trips to the lake to sort out who your friends really are. The ones who help are most likely the ones you should foster relationships with. I think smaller groups may give you a better impression of those that deserve your friendship. This is not a perfect predictor however.
