Thanks guys... They sure are beautiful fish aren't they? Glad that TPWD is trying to establish them. This one was pulling like a 3-4 pound lmb and didn't want to come up. Good stuff. May need to run up to Texoma and fish the Fina rocks at night sometime this summer. Just something special about those fish.
Yeah Ren... Prefishing is kinda a big part of having a decent tourney it seems to me. Although I prefished Fork and it didn't help LOL! Rob didn't so you gotta keep that in mind. But I think just getting the lay of the land and a few spots you're familiar with can really help with confidence on the actual day.

My wife and I were fishing at out Gvine and we both caught a small Smallmouth, both were only about 8 inches. Love catching them.
