Had this discussion with some friends. Many think your chances are better at fork because fork hOlds so many Texas records from way back. I say hands down falcon. What you guys think that fish both these places?

That question isnt even close. Your odds are WAYYYYY better at Falcon.

Even if you have fished Fork your whole life and dont know anything at Falcon your odds are still probably better on the average day.

Option is there at both lakes but I think your chances are better at Falcon.

Fork is a good lake and it has lots of giant fish. Falcon is just crazy the last few years (and still today).

I would say Falcon no doubt. That being said I'm going to Fork for 3 days next week so I hope we beat the odds and put a couple of DD's in the boat. I would be at Falcon but this trip is mostly for dad and I can't convince him it's
Safe down there.

Hands down Falcon! I couldnt count the number of times I've fished Fork and have never caught a DD there. I've taken 4 trips to Falcon and have caught 2 DD's. I love Fork, but it's not close to being in the same league as Falcon.

I like Fork. Much bigger fish and the SAFETY factor is important to me and my wife.

You're more likely to get run over by another boat at Fork than have any safety issues at Falcon especially if you stay on the US side.

I think the biggest thing with fork is all the fish have seen every presentation and lure so many times that they have just gotten wise to the anglers if fork wasn't pounded all day everyday it would probably be a different story but IMHO I think you have a great chance to land a DD at either lake but falcon doesn't receive as much pressure so I would have to give it a slight edge

fish to live and live to fish

My vote is for Falcon.
