Well today I decided to hit grapevine. I was gonna do the tourny but no digital camara. So from katie woods I paddled to the bubbles at the dam. I caught me some shad then moved closer to the rocks. Then i see the warden coming we comes over towards me and all the sudden i hook up with somwthing big. then the warden tells me to slack my line and get out my fishing license..... Not cool at all... Buut I did and after he checked me all out he took off and asked if it was still on or hung up... and I was hung up.. anyways after that i caught a 11inch channel cat. after that it was time to move and i see a boat on the bubbles pull a double so i head to one end and anchor up next thing i know im pulling out 12-15.5 inch sandies!!! then all the sudden I get a 9" crappie lol. the boaters were all friendly as well soo it was a good day! around the end of the night i see 3 kayaks coming towards the bubbles turns out to be swamphunter we fished for a bit sadly they didnt have any luck with the sandies even after they switched to shad.. Then at the katie woods ramp i see the gvine fire dept. boat at first I thought someone drowned but it turned out someone thought their 4x4 jeep was a boat also
