How much difference is there between the Lake Fork Flutter Spoon and the Talon Lake Fork Flutter Spoon.
The original LFT spoon is always sold out in magic shad, but I can usually always get the Talon or StrikeKing. Only problem is, I have confidence in the LFT spoon, I've purchached 2 Talon spoons but lost them both before I caught a fish on one. So now I really need to purchase some LFT spoons which are back ordered at TackleWarehouse, but dont know if I want to purchase more Talon's.

Talons are great. They catch fish! See example below.

I've fished all 3 brands you asked about, my only complaint with any of em is how easily and quickly the paint comes off the Strike King spoons. I'm partial to Talon spoon, one look at the paint schemes they offer on their website will say it all. In the end it really all comes down to what you have the most confidence in, and what feels good in your hand.

As far as design goes, I feel the StrikeKing flutter/vibrate more when I'm ripping it back to the boat than the other 2. As far as design goes, how different are they?

A piece of metal w a hook attached is a piece of metal w a hook attached. I own and have used all three w no noticeable difference from one brand to another. If you are a color person, talon does have some awesome finishes and they also have a little heavier spoon if you are looking to cover water more efficiently or fish it a little deeper. Remember it is a reaction bite so it's more just getting it in front if them. Go with what you are confident in!

I haven't used any of those brands. I've been using the Amistad Tackle Flutter Spoon. The finish is an automotive clearcoat so the paint job stays on. Amistad Tackle - Flutter Spoon

I use the original Joe Spaits spoon the KJ won the Head to Head matchups. It is the original design and about 1/3 heavier than any of the others, so it wobbles more because it is falling faster. Hope this helps.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck. OH, the Joe Spaits spoon is the ORIGINAL design that KJ used to make the LFT spoons. He's been around for almost 17 years making that spoon in lots of different sizes and they all work.

NOTE to all those that say it is a hunk of metal with a hook tied on it are no wiser than you think you are. The Spaits spoon is heavier and wobbles and catches water differently than the lighter spoons do. Go ask Cameron if he agres, BIG difference in the action of lighter to heavier.
