FYI...
If we continue to have boats in the tournament running in and out of the no wake section of the river I will make the ENTIRE river off limits from the No Wake Buoys north. Doesnt matter if you have fish to weigh or not, running the no wake area is simply giving the lakefront residents the fire power they need to put an end to tournaments on Lake Worth. Remember, this is a lake that is PRIVATELY owned by the city of Ft Worth. If you are going to risk the river you are then stuck with an idle in and all the way out regardless of whether or not you have fish.
I have been contacted by the local homeowners group regarding this issue, the same group that got the approval for the no wake... they are not only watching but RECORDING every Wed night. Its not fair to the rest of your fellow anglers who are playing by the rules to be punished for a couple of guy's stupid decisions.
I am 100% serious, one more report of a tournament boat running the river and its off limits for as long as I am running these tournaments.
