I will try to make this - will be my first time fishing out of my kayak.
Also trying to get my college son to come along - we shall see!

Doesn't look like many people are going to make it out today...what a bummer I'll be on the water somewhere at the vine tonight... I wasn't actually making fishing in the tourney a priority but if people are worried about a low turnout I could throw my hat in the ring...

Come on out! I'm seeing some new faces saying that they will come out this week. Keep in mind that every week will have a different turn out and as long as we can get this to grow then new people will be out to enjoy it. I've meet a few people at the paddle show last weekend that said they were wanting to come out as well as a couple of PM's here on the forum.
Don't forget to call me if your launching from a different location. You will need to have an identifier in your picture in order for the fish to count.

Just to re-verify - the launch point is Oak Grove Park on Sandbass road?

Oak Grove Park on Sandbass point. Just past marina take right. You'll see a sign saying sandbass point boat ramp.

As u see plans changed last min  fished grapevine from 4:30-7 though. . Hope there was better luck then last week

well i couldnt take part in the tourny tonight bc I dont have a digital camara so i hit the bubbles at the dam caught some shad and started slaying the sandies in the end i caught 14 sandies 1 channel cat and one crappie and i meet a few tff'ers. it was a good night to say the least and on my way back to my car i see a jeep with a boat trailer being pulled outta da-vine so great... now i need to inest ina camara for moments like that

Congrats to Ron (GoFishNow) on the win. Out was only the second time to fish out of his kayak. We had 5 new people out tonight  thanks for coming out.
