No scales, but measured 25.5" long and 22.5" girth, full of eggs looked like it had a cantaloupe in it's belly.
Spinning rod, 8 lb line, 1/8 oz weight, 1/0 hook and craw worm. Private pond near Winona Texas, caught while it was snowing.
Comparing to SAL measurements, the fish was between 13-15 lbs. This fish was one of many unders taken from Fork and stocked in a pond by me and a friend, early 90s.
Have never went fishing again without some type of scale and/or camera.

Have never went fishing again without some type of scale and/or camera. Just caught one a month ago with with nearly the same measurements.... weighed 13 even (on boga grips that were certified at one point.) Not that any two fish are the same, but that may give you a little info.

I had to google images to see if I ever caught a bass, AND I HAVE! He was just like this, except he had blue ears and was about 4 inches long!
