Does anyone know what paint can be applied to soft plastic baits that will not melt them or come off in water. Obviously not water based - but I think model paint may cause the plastic to melt.
I did another post on this and got some suggestions for sharpie markers. While they work - it's hard to really add significant color to darker baits. I'm trying to paint some cheaper swimbaits up to look like bream, since the ones already painted up like bream are about $4 each...
Any help is appreciated and I'm sorry for the second post on this topic - I couldn't find the other post...

You may get several different colors of dye and mix your own?
Apply it with a q-tip to get the desired patterns, etc.
The chartruese spray works better than either the dye or the marker if you're needing some chartruese.
