12#'s. Barring the necessity for larger line due to cover it's kinda silly to throw a dd crank on something that's gonna inhibit it's ability to go deep. Obviously theres variables to that like wanting a larger profile etc.

I throw all cranks whether it's a square bill or dd22 on 12lb .... Only exception would be if I was throwing the square bill around heavy garbage

I use 20lb Invisx but I suffer from Falcon oversized line syndrome. Ideally 12lb would work better.

12lb will give it much better action, anything more and you're really killing the wobble. If you're fishing an area with a lot of cover you almost have to bump it up to 14-15lb though or you're going to break off a lot.

Lighter line on deep crankbaits is better for depth and action so I throw 12lb. I throw 15lb for square bills.

It depends on how deep you want it to run. I typically throw it on either 10lb or 12lb trilene 100% fluoro but if I need it to get really deep and there's not a lot of trees around I'll throw deep cranks on 8lb trilene fluoro. Occasionally I go to 6lb if I need the extra depth but with that light of line you're playing with fire. I'd rather get the bites and risk breaking off than not get the bites at all.
