Anyone know how deep the crappie are on Toledo Bend right now? Are they in the shallows or out deeper over brush? Thanks!

This reminded me of what my brother says when we go fishing:

"Well the fish are either shallow, deep or somewhere in between."

LOL

At Rayburn they are bunching up in brush 10-20' deep, summer pattern, so I have heard.

I read a guide report yesterday saying that they are out deep. It's been several weeks since I was down there, but most of the spawn was over then and they seemed to be moving out. My experience is usually if they are out deep on Rayburn (as I have read several reports saying), they are usually deep on the Bend. Good luck.
