Its taking me 3 years to wait out my wife finishing her degree and 2 years to talk her into using our vacation time for a week at the Fork but this year its finally going to happen. I will be there for 4/5 days of fishing will it be cheaper for me to buy the day license for 16 each day or go ahead and buy the full year license?

The Non-Resident full year is $58.00, so if you are fishing for at least 4 days, the full year is cheaper.

Just buy the yearly, you will want to come back! Perfect time to be there.

Congrats to your wife for finishing her degree. Hope your first Fork trip is as fun as mine was. Beware, I fished on Fork for the first time last year and now own a place there. It is addicting!

last weekend there was a big school of big sandies around the bridge in the back of williams. they were out in the creek channel chasing bait and we threw crankbaits in there hoping it was schooling lmb's but were quickly educated otherwise.

"Sand Bass"? Are these the white bass you're referring to? Not familiar with this term the way it's used in TX!

Im on the lake a few days a week and dont ever seem to come across them. Go out to the 2946 road bed and throw a spoon or crankbait and enjoy. Loads of fun and just please keep em all! Stay just north of the boat lane. If you have any trouble text me, if Im on the water I'll show you the exact spot where you can load the boat with em.
