Girlfriend and I hit Tom Bass around 5:30. Nobody was catching any when we walked up but I found them on a wind blown bank. Constant bite, lots of fish caught and we kept our 10 to fry fish for my grandparents next weekend.

I had about a 7-8 pounder as well, dropped him right back in the water tryin to get him on my stringer!



Dunno what was with the goody look on my face. Most were caught on stink bait, but the biggest were caught on secret-7 (first time user and I'm hooked)

Thanks guys. I'm really impressed with how this little pond produces. And although they stock it every 2 weeks, I'm convinced there is a strong population of cats in there not being caught. I've seen some BIG fish in there. One of the 10 I caught had a few eggs in her too, so they must be reproducing as well. I really don't see that many people fishing this pond either. All te fish I've caught have been fat and healthy as well.

There was lots of fish activity, especially from some small spotter/long nose gar. Co-workers son caught one on a bare hook and finally landed it. About a 2 footer. Cool to see, there was a ton of them. Must have been spawning the way they were rolling around.

Great catch. Right size for frying!

Went back yesterday after work. Only 4 (one short of a limit!) missed a few. Wind was dead and they were scattered. Still had fun.

Fish fry was sunday, and the fish tasted great! I know some people think pond fish have a funny taste. I didn't notice.
