My favorite is the biggest Shad and cut nice chunks. I have caught Shad on jigs before behind Bardwell and Navarro crappie fishing no lie they hit the jig. They were well over 15in long. I have also caught a 15lb blue with a 6 pound carp in its belly. I tried putting back threw its mouth and have no idea how he swallowed it. It was crazy.

Eaters have big appetites too. This is a 19" channel that had a.bout a 8-9" shad in its belly..

The bigger the bait the odds go up to a bigger fish but don't always work thy way my pb blue of 72 pounds was caught on a slither of sand bass quarter inch wide 3 inches long pb flat of 68 pounds caught on a 4 inch drum

NEVER TO BIG FOR A CATFISH!! Chunk him up in sections. Myself I cut th right behind the dorsal fin angle it toward the anal region. The bleed good, plus the gutsput out a good scent slick!!
