For those who use Duckett rods, which one is best for Carolina rigging.
I use 20# Invizx line, and am concerned about it going through the micro guides.

7.6" Heavy here...guess its all in what you like. I hardly ever use anything less than a 3/4 oz weight when rigging though.

How balanced is the 7'6" heavy rod? I picked up a 7'6" Medium Heavy and it felt pretty balanced, but not sure if it has enough back bone for driving in the hook.
The reason I'm looking into a C-rig rod is because I was on a good C-rig bite the other day, and lost every other fish due to throwing the bait. (Yes hooks were sharp). The rod I'm currently using is a Falcon Low Rider 7" carolina dragger rod.

I don't have any problems with the rod....usually if I miss a fish it is due to angler error. You have to reel all the way down to the fish and feel him before you cross his eyes. 3/4 or Sweeping hook sets work the best. The longer rod helps in reducing the slack when setting the hook.
