I bought a white river open front float tube earlier this year and boy what a mistake that was. I used to tube a lot and had a round tube, don't remember the make, but that tube lasted for years. You could also use a regular truck inner tube which was great. I didn't do my homework and with this tube it has a vinyl bladder, which I knew wouldn't last but bought it anyway. Well anyway I was out at Grapevine twin coves today and you guessed it sprung a leek. I was a long way from where I put in but luckily I made it back to shore ok. At least it was at the end of the day and I did catch 3 good fish. I have seen reviews in this forum about the togiak and I think I will get one of those now. I tried to find somewhere I could get a replacement bladder for now, but can't seem to find one. Does anyone know where you might get a better bladder or just a replacement? I probably shouldn't waste my time that tube really isn't that well made anyway.

I had one of the white river tubes and I was very displeased with it. After three uses I returned the tube to Bass Pro and they gave me a store credit. I think it is very important to get a tube with an actual rubber tire tube. The tube used in the white river brands are not sturdy enough to prevent bowing in the middle. For about $60-$80 more you can really get a quality tube that you can depend on. A lot of guys on this can suggest a good tube. I personally fish from a fishmaster and really like it. Hope you find something.

I've had my Bucks Bag mustang, for 7 years now, it's stained and faded but still holding up. The bladder system is top notch, the front is braced by a pvc bar. I'll never go back to a round tube.
