Me and a group of friends are going to Cozumel at the end of June. We are looking for a charter boat. I've seen tons online but would like to know if anyone has used and can recommend a guide service down there? I dont want to get stuck with a "yahoo" so I thought I'd ask the TFFers for some advise.

I went last year and went out with Wahoo Tours they were Okay we would have had a better trip but my friend got sea sick. We still ended up with a 30lb mahi mahi and about a 30lb baracudda. We had to end the trip to quick we were booked for a 8 hr deep sea trip. If you want to catch alot I would do a bottom/Reef Fishing trip the sport fishing was a little slow.

But the coolest thing we did down there was go spear fishing with this guy leo it was amazing. Here is his number even if you don't go out with him he might be able to point you in the right direction on who to go out with he's from Norway but has been spearfishing down there for several year. I think it was like a 100 dollars to go out with him and it was the coolest thing I ve ever done. You can find him on Trip Advisor as well.
